Meet Christine Scianna
Christine Scianna knows what it means to fight for Arizona families because she’s been fighting for her own.
A lifelong Arizonan, mom, and former middle school science teacher, Christine has spent her life teaching and raising children to ask questions, solve problems, and never give up. She understands the realities families face because she has lived them: stretching a paycheck, working a second job to make ends meet, navigating childcare and healthcare, all while advocating for her daughter with profound, non-verbal autism.
When the systems her family depended on failed to meet her daughter’s needs, Christine became an advocate, not just for her own child, but for families across Arizona living with autism and disabilities. Since 2019, she has stood side by side with Republicans, Democrats, and Independents before Arizona’s legislators, fighting to protect the healthcare, education, and support services hardworking Arizona families depend on.
Unfortunately, most politicians don’t care much for hard working people anymore. So Christine is taking our fight to the State House as a Clean Elections candidate.
She can’t be bought by special interests, and she doesn’t answer to big donors. She is running to be accountable to the people of Legislative District 29: the families, educators, caregivers, small-business owners, and neighbors who call this community home.
Christine believes Arizona government should work for its people. That means making life more affordable, strengthening public schools and healthcare, and protecting vulnerable Arizonans with real accountability.
She isn’t running because politics was her plan. She’s running because our nation and our state desperately need real people taking back our governments and making sure that our elected officials answer to all of us. She’s running because LD29 deserves a voice that puts people over agendas, and holds the powerful accountable.

- Make Arizona More Affordable — Lower the pressure on families by addressing the rising costs of housing, childcare, healthcare, and everyday life while protecting the property values of our incredible neighborhoods.
- Invest in Raising Strong Families and Children — Provide support for families in real need. Strengthen public education, support educators, and work to ensure every Arizona student has the opportunity to thrive.
- Protect Healthcare & Families with Disabilities — Protect Medicaid, Medicare, and the critical services seniors, children, and adults with disabilities and their families rely on.
- Put People First & Restore Accountability — Amplify the voices of everyday Arizonans, demand transparency and equity, and make sure government works for the people, not special interests.
